Laurus has been crafting high-end electric basses for over 40 years.
The site was designed to improve the brand’s online presence, simplify content management, and increase visibility and inquiries in Italy and abroad.
When Pierluigi needs to publish a new instrument or update the site, he just sends me photos and details via WhatsApp: I handle content entry, letting him focus completely on his work.

The initial context
A site hard to manage and losing leads
Laurus already had a website, but the platform it was built on made management complex and unreliable.
The backend was difficult for non-technical users, and the contact form failed: many requests never arrived.
For a business built on custom instruments and international clients, losing leads meant losing real opportunities.
A more stable, easy-to-update site was needed to truly showcase the luthier’s work.

What I created
A site designed to show tools and receive contacts
I built a new bilingual Italian/English site developed around a clear, fast, and easily updatable structure.
The platform uses Vetta’s proprietary CMS, designed to simplify management even for those with little computer familiarity.
For SEO, I organized the content, creating sections for models, available basses, artists, business history, videos, and interviews.
I also added a blog with articles on bass setup and maintenance to capture organic traffic through informative searches.
Beyond development, I directly handle new instrument and content entry, letting the luthier focus on their work without the technical side.

What we achieved
More international visibility and increased requests
After publication, the site has progressively increased its organic visibility, and now averages about 16,000 impressions and 750 clicks per quarter, without costs for advertising campaigns or dedicated marketing plans.
New editorial sections and the bilingual structure expanded traffic from searches related to both artists and informative content.
Meanwhile, proper contact functionality and a clearer presentation of tools led to a significant increase in requests and subsequent sales, helping the business quickly overcome a particularly delicate period.
